As many individuals can attribute their beginnings to an inspirational influence, Devon credits his grandmother, a Master Gardener. Having worked in the garden and gaining her love for the outdoors and plants it inspired him to become a Horticulturist and later a landscaper.
Devon was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education from North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University in addition to graduating from the Horticulture Technology program at Forsyth Technical Community College where he is still on the Board for the department. He enjoys sharing his plant knowledge with others and finding native plants to recommend for local landscapes. His wife and children enjoy quizzing him on plant names often as they walk their property in Forsyth County, NC.
Devon Hauser is a certified, licensed and insured North Carolina Landscape Contractor and holds an N.C. Pesticide Application license in addition to his education in agriculture.
